Had a blast here with friends! We enjoyed some billiards at the hotel and spent our days adventuring at the local beaches and nearby golf courses. The flexible meal times made it easy to fit everything in. Just a heads up, some areas could use a bit more attention, but overall, it's a decent spot for a group getaway.
Unfortunately, one of our friends found bugs in her bed, which definitely put a damper on our stay. Not cool!

Nice and quiet getaway
Had a chill 2-night stay in a twin room. It was quiet and decent for the price. The bar/lounge area was cool. Only issue was the beds, which weren’t comfy at all, so didn’t sleep great. It’s fine if you just need a place to crash, but don’t expect luxury!

The location was good, just a short walk to the shops and beach. The breakfast was decent, though basic, it was enough to fill us up for the day ahead.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

We spent a night and were pleasantly surprised by how cozy the twin room was. The shower had fantastic pressure. The lounge area was really nice for chilling out, and we enjoyed a few games there. Only downside was some noise from the hallway, but it didn’t take away from our overall decent stay! 😊

great access to bournemouth beach and central gardens just down the hill
I really appreciated how easy it was to stroll down to Bournemouth Pier and the beautiful Central Gardens, both just a short walk away, making my weekend trips relaxing and fun, even though it was quite a steep hike back up to the hotel after a long day exploring.

A review for those who want a cheap place to crash
The location was perfect for a night out, just a quick walk to the bars. And the staff were surprisingly helpful when I asked for an extra pillow, no hassle at all.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but I guess it was acceptable for what I got.

Oh, the desserts at Koh Thai Bournemouth are a culinary dream! Absolutely crushed it with their sweet offerings. Plus, the location of The Maemar is prime, nestled near some great local spots like Jungle Cafe and Sorriso. Felt right at home!
Blimey, my mate’s room was a right horror show! Mouldy duvets and a shower that packed in. Staff were chill with me but left her and her kids in the lurch. Not the vibe for a holiday, I tell ya!
